Ready for lift off

hey everybody,

so this is my first blog post...ever! i'm going to be using this blog while i'm in London this semester as a way to update everybody and to save myself from writing 4938294 e-mails. hopefully once i figure this thing out i'll be able to post some pictures and make it more interesting, but for now, this is as good as it gets.
